About Eric Stanley
Growing up, Eric Stanley was always musically inclined. Born in Chesapeake, VA on April 19, 1991, Eric lived in a household surrounded by musicians. His mother played the piano while he, his sister and brother would sing along. It was when Eric watched his older brother play the viola during one of his family's music sessions that molded his interest in the instrument. What began as an elective in middle school, developed into a second nature for Eric. As he entered high school, Eric went on to receive professional training and join the Richmond Youth Symphony Orchestra. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
With just homemade videos recorded in his room, with violin and beats as accompaniment, Eric received the YouTube Silver Play Button surpassing 150,000 subscribers and 21 million total upload views. YouTube.com/estan247. In April of 2015, Eric Stanley made his ESPN debut when he performed on ESPN's top ranking show, 'First Take'.

Eric has been influential in the art of improvisation by remixing popular songs on his violin and fusing classical, pop, jazz, and hip-hop elements.
This musical prodigy continues to elevate his passion, and has performed as the opening act for B.o.B., Wale, J.Cole, Mr. Cheeks, Hezekiah Walker, Big Daddy Kane, and former President Bill Clinton. Eric has also performed at the International Emmy Awards, the Richmond Jazz Festival, and a Cleveland's Browns game just to name a few.
